[339] At Sāvatthī. There indeed... "Bhikkhus, whatever is non-self (anattā), you should abandon desire (chanda) for it. And what, bhikkhus, is non-self? Form, bhikkhus, is non-self; you should abandon desire for it. Feeling (vedanā) is non-self ... perception ... volitional formations ... consciousness is non-self; you should abandon desire for it. Bhikkhus, whatever is non-self, you should abandon desire for it."
