[340] At Sāvatthī. "Bhikkhus, that which is not-self (anattā) — you should abandon lust (rāga) for it. And what, bhikkhus, is not-self? Form (rūpa), bhikkhus, is not-self; you should abandon lust for it. Feeling (vedanā) is not-self … Perception … Volitional formations … Consciousness is not-self; you should abandon lust for it. Bhikkhus, that which is not-self — you should abandon lust for it."
