[385] At Sāvatthī. Seated to one side, the Venerable Rādha said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, it is said: 'subject to destruction (khayadhamma), subject to destruction.' What now, venerable sir, is subject to destruction?" "Form (rūpa), Rādha, is subject to destruction; feeling (vedanā) is subject to destruction; perception (saññā) is subject to destruction; volitional formations (saṅkhārā) are subject to destruction; consciousness (viññāṇa) is subject to destruction. Seeing thus … he understands: '… there is no more for this state of being.'"
