[502] Sāvatthī. "Bhikkhus, the desire and lust (chandarāga) for the feeling (vedanā) born of eye-contact (cakkhusamphassa) — this is a corruption of the mind (citta). The desire and lust for the feeling born of ear-contact … for the feeling born of nose-contact … for the feeling born of tongue-contact … for the feeling born of body-contact … the desire and lust for the feeling born of mind-contact — this is a corruption of the mind. When, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu … in the dhammas to be realized by direct knowledge (abhiññā)."
