[165] Bhikkhus, there are forms cognizable by the eye that are wished for, desirable, agreeable, pleasing, connected with sensuality, provocative of lust. If a bhikkhu delights in them, welcomes them, and remains clinging to them, this bhikkhu, bhikkhus, is called one who has gone to Māra's dwelling, who has come under Māra's control; Māra's snare has been fastened upon him. Bound with Māra's bond, he may be done with as the Evil One wishes. …
