[234] "Bhikkhus, I will teach you the way of practice conducive to Nibbāna. Listen to it. … And what, bhikkhus, is that way of practice conducive to Nibbāna? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu sees the eye as not-self (anattā); he sees forms as not-self; he sees eye-consciousness as not-self; he sees eye-contact as not-self; and whatever feeling (vedanā) arises with eye-contact as condition—whether pleasant, or painful, or neither-painful-nor-pleasant—that too he sees as not-self. … He sees the tongue as not-self. … He sees the mind as not-self; he sees mental phenomena (dhammā) as not-self; he sees mind-consciousness as not-self; he sees mind-contact as not-self; and whatever feeling arises with mind-contact as condition—whether pleasant, or painful, or neither-painful-nor-pleasant—that too he sees as not-self. This, bhikkhus, is that way of practice conducive to Nibbāna." The fourth.
