[278] Bhikkhus, forms — past, future, or present — are not-self (anattā). What is not-self should be seen as it really is with right wisdom (sammappaññā) thus: "This is not mine, this I am not, this is not my self." Sounds, odors, tastes, tactile objects, and dhammas — past, future, or present — are not-self. What is not-self should be seen as it really is with right wisdom thus: "This is not mine, this I am not, this is not my self." Seeing thus … he understands: "… there is no more for this state of being."
