[30] "Bhikkhus, one who directly knows and fully understands the all, who becomes dispassionate toward it and abandons it, is capable of the destruction of suffering (dukkha). And what, bhikkhus, is the all which, directly knowing, fully understanding, becoming dispassionate toward, and abandoning, one is capable of the destruction of suffering? The eye, forms (rūpa), eye-consciousness (viññāṇa), and the phenomena to be cognized by eye-consciousness … the tongue, tastes, tongue-consciousness, and the phenomena to be cognized by tongue-consciousness … the mind (mano), mental phenomena, mind-consciousness, and the phenomena to be cognized by mind-consciousness — this, bhikkhus, is the all which, directly knowing, fully understanding, becoming dispassionate toward, and abandoning, one is capable of the destruction of suffering."
