[373] He, possessing wisdom and learned, does not feel that feeling (vedanā),
whether pleasant or painful;
and this is the distinction between the wise one and the worldling —
this is the distinction of the skilled one.
For one who has comprehended the Dhamma, learned,
discerning this world and the next,
desirable things do not agitate his mind (citta),
nor at the undesirable does he come to repulsion.
For him attraction and likewise repulsion
are dispelled, gone to their end — they exist no more.
And having known the dust-free, sorrowless state,
he rightly understands, gone beyond existence.
