[494] Bhikkhus, these five conditions (ṭhāna) are easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit. What five?
"May I be born into a suitable family" — this, bhikkhus, is the first condition easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit.
"Having been born into a suitable family, may I go to a suitable family [in marriage]" — this, bhikkhus, is the second condition easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit.
"Having been born into a suitable family, having gone to a suitable family, may I dwell in a home without a co-wife" — this, bhikkhus, is the third condition easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit.
"Having been born into a suitable family, having gone to a suitable family, dwelling in a home without a co-wife, may I have children" — this, bhikkhus, is the fourth condition easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit.
"Having been born into a suitable family, having gone to a suitable family, dwelling in a home without a co-wife, being one who has children, may I conduct myself having mastery over my husband" — this, bhikkhus, is the fifth condition easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit.
These, bhikkhus, are the five conditions easy to obtain by a woman who has made merit.
