[495] Bhikkhus, a woman (mātugāma) who possesses five qualities dwells at home with confidence (visārada). Which five? She abstains from the destruction of life, abstains from taking what is not given, abstains from misconduct in sensual pleasures, abstains from false speech, and abstains from wines, liquors, and intoxicants that are a basis for heedlessness. Bhikkhus, a woman who possesses these five qualities dwells at home with confidence. The ninth.
