[568] "Good, venerable sir." ... [Then Citta the householder,] having approved, asked a further question: "Venerable sir, when a bhikkhu has emerged from the attainment of the cessation of perception and feeling (saññāvedayitanirodhasamāpatti), how many contacts (phassa) touch him?" "Householder, when a bhikkhu has emerged from the attainment of the cessation of perception and feeling, three contacts touch him: emptiness contact (suñño phasso), signless contact (animitto phasso), and undirected contact (appaṇihito phasso)."
