[569] "Good, venerable sir. …" He asked a further question: "But, venerable sir, when a bhikkhu has emerged from the attainment of the cessation of perception and feeling (saññāvedayitanirodha-samāpatti), to what does his mind (citta) slant, to what does it slope, to what does it incline?"
"Householder (gahapati), when a bhikkhu has emerged from the attainment of the cessation of perception and feeling, his mind slants towards seclusion (viveka), slopes towards seclusion, inclines towards seclusion."
