[575] "And what, venerable sir, is the signless liberation of mind (animittā cetovimutti)? Here, venerable sir, a bhikkhu, through non-attention to all signs (nimitta), enters and dwells in the signless concentration of mind (animitta cetosamādhi). This, venerable sir, is called the signless liberation of mind. This, venerable sir, is the method (pariyāya) by reason of which method these states (dhammā) are different in meaning and different in phrasing."
