[641] Therein, headman, this one who enjoys sensual pleasures (kāmabhogī) who seeks wealth righteously, without violence, and having sought wealth righteously, without violence, makes himself happy and satisfied, but does not share it and does not make merit (puñña) — this one who enjoys sensual pleasures, headman, is praiseworthy on two grounds and blameworthy on one ground. On which two grounds is he praiseworthy? He seeks wealth righteously, without violence: on this first ground he is praiseworthy. He makes himself happy and satisfied: on this second ground he is praiseworthy. On which one ground is he blameworthy? He does not share it and does not make merit: on this one ground he is blameworthy. This one who enjoys sensual pleasures, headman, is praiseworthy on these two grounds and blameworthy on this one ground.
