[652] "For, headman (gāmaṇi), there are some ascetics and brahmins (samaṇabrāhmaṇā) who speak thus and hold such a view: 'Whoever destroys life, all such experience pain (dukkha) and grief (domanassa) in this very life; whoever takes what is not given, all such experience pain and grief in this very life; whoever engages in misconduct in sensual pleasures, all such experience pain and grief in this very life; whoever speaks falsehood, all such experience pain and grief in this very life.'"
