[798] "It is wonderful, Master Moggallāna! It is amazing, Master Moggallāna! That the meaning should agree with the meaning, and the phrasing with the phrasing, of teacher and of disciple — that they should concur and not diverge, that is, in regard to the chief matter (aggapada). Just now, Master Moggallāna, I approached the ascetic Gotama and asked him about this matter, and the ascetic Gotama too explained this matter to me in these very terms and these very phrases, just as the worthy Moggallāna has done. It is wonderful, Master Moggallāna! It is amazing, Master Moggallāna! That the meaning should agree with the meaning, and the phrasing with the phrasing, of teacher and of disciple — that they should concur and not diverge, that is, in regard to the chief matter."
