Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Mahāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 19 · Section 1019

[1019] Whatever mindfulness he has, Sāriputta, that is his faculty of mindfulness (satindriya). For, Sāriputta, when a noble disciple (ariyasāvaka) possesses faith (saddhā), has aroused energy, and has established mindfulness, this can be expected: that, having made relinquishment (vossagga) the object, he will gain concentration (samādhi), will gain one-pointedness of mind (cittassa ekaggatā).
