[1034] Furthermore, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu who is a trainee (sekha) reflects thus: 'Is there, outside of here, any other ascetic or brahmin who teaches a Dhamma so real, true, and actual as does the Blessed One?' He understands thus: 'There is, outside of here, no other ascetic or brahmin who teaches a Dhamma so real, true, and actual as does the Blessed One.' This too, bhikkhus, is a method (pariyāya), relying on which a trainee bhikkhu, established on the plane of a trainee (sekhabhūmi), understands: 'I am a trainee.'
