Anusayasutta

[1064] Bhikkhus, these five faculties (indriyāni), when developed and cultivated, lead to the uprooting of the underlying tendencies (anusaya). What five? The faculty of faith (saddhindriya) … the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya). These, bhikkhus, are the five faculties which, when developed and cultivated, lead to the uprooting of the underlying tendencies.
