[1063] Setting at Sāvatthī. "Bhikkhus, these five faculties (indriyāni), when developed and cultivated, lead to the abandoning of the fetters (saṃyojana). Which five? The faculty of faith (saddhindriya) … the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya). These five faculties, bhikkhus, when developed and cultivated, lead to the abandoning of the fetters."
