[1072] Bhikkhus, just as, among whatever trees there are in Jambudīpa, the rose-apple tree (jambū) is declared their foremost — even so, bhikkhus, among whatever dhammas there are that partake of awakening (bodhipakkhiyā dhammā), the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya) is declared their foremost, that is to say, for awakening.
