[1079] Bhikkhus, just as, of whatever trees belong to the supaṇṇas (garudas), the koṭasimbalī tree is declared their chief; even so, bhikkhus, of whatever dhammas partake of awakening (bodhipakkhiyā dhammā), the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya) is declared their chief, that is, for awakening.
