[1175] "Bhikkhus, I shall teach you spiritual power (iddhi), the basis of spiritual power (iddhipāda), the development (bhāvanā) of the basis of spiritual power, and the way of practice (paṭipadā) leading to the development of the basis of spiritual power. Listen to that.
"And what, bhikkhus, is spiritual power? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu wields the various kinds of spiritual power: having been one, he becomes many; having been many, he becomes one … he exercises mastery with the body even as far as the brahmā world. This, bhikkhus, is called spiritual power."
