[1178] "And what, bhikkhus, is the way of practice (paṭipadā) leading to the development (bhāvanā) of the bases of spiritual power (iddhipāda)? It is this very Noble Eightfold Path (ariya aṭṭhaṅgika magga); that is: right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration (samādhi). This, bhikkhus, is called the way of practice leading to the development of the bases of spiritual power."
