[1208] At Sāvatthī. Then the Venerable Ānanda approached the Blessed One; having approached, he paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down to one side. Seated to one side, the Venerable Ānanda said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, does the Blessed One recall having gone to the brahmā world by spiritual power (iddhi) with a mind-made body (manomaya kāya)?" "I recall, Ānanda, having gone to the brahmā world by spiritual power with a mind-made body." "But, venerable sir, does the Blessed One recall having gone to the brahmā world by spiritual power with this body composed of the four great elements?" "I recall, Ānanda, having gone to the brahmā world by spiritual power with this body composed of the four great elements."
