[1212] "Ānanda, on whatever occasion the Tathāgata concentrates the body upon the mind (citta) and concentrates the mind upon the body, and dwells having entered upon a perception of bliss (sukhasaññā) and a perception of lightness (lahusaññā) with regard to the body — on that occasion, Ānanda, the body of the Tathāgata rises up from the earth into the air with very little difficulty. He wields the manifold kinds of spiritual power (iddhividha): having been one, he becomes many; having been many, he becomes one … he exercises mastery with the body even as far as the brahmā world."
