[1213] Just as, Ānanda, a tuft of cotton down or a tuft of kapok, being light and sustained by the element (dhātu) [of wind], rises up from the earth into the sky with only little difficulty; even so, Ānanda, on whatever occasion the Tathāgata concentrates the body in the mind (citta) and concentrates the mind in the body, and dwells having entered into the perception of bliss and the perception of lightness with respect to the body … .
