[1247] Bhikkhus, it is because these four bases of spiritual power (iddhipāda) have been developed and made much of that the Tathāgata wields the manifold kinds of spiritual power (iddhividha): having been one, he becomes many … he exercises mastery with the body even as far as the brahmā world.
