[1298] "And it is, friends, because these four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) have been developed and cultivated that, with the divine eye (dibbacakkhu), purified and surpassing the human, I see beings passing away and being reborn … Thus with the divine eye, purified and surpassing the human, … I understand beings as faring on in accordance with their kamma."
