[1299] "And it is, friends, because these four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) have been developed and cultivated that I, with the destruction of the taints (āsava), having realized it for myself with direct knowledge (abhiññā), enter upon and dwell in the taintless liberation of mind (cetovimutti) and liberation by wisdom (paññāvimutti) in this very life."

The Thousand, Psychic Power, and then
Encompassing Minds, the Possible — these three;
Paṭidolika, Diverse Resolves,
the Faculty, They Know, and the Three True Knowledges (vijjā).¹
