[1351] "Then, Ānanda, have all the bhikkhus who are dwelling in dependence on Vesālī assemble in the attendance hall." "Yes, venerable sir," the Venerable Ānanda replied to the Blessed One, and having assembled in the attendance hall all the bhikkhus who were dwelling in dependence on Vesālī, he approached the Blessed One; having approached, he said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, the Saṅgha of bhikkhus is assembled. Let the Blessed One do now as he deems it the time."
