[1362] "Just as, Ānanda, there might be a great heap of soil at a crossroads of four great highways, and if a cart or a chariot should come from the eastern direction, it would crush that heap of soil; if it should come from the western direction … ; if it should come from the northern direction … ; if it should come from the southern direction, a cart or a chariot would crush that heap of soil — in just the same way, Ānanda, a bhikkhu, while dwelling contemplating the body in the body, crushes evil, unwholesome states; while dwelling contemplating [feeling] in feelings (vedanā), [mind] in the mind (citta), and dhammas in dhammas, he crushes evil, unwholesome states."
The First Chapter, on the One Dhamma (Ekadhammavagga), is finished.

The one dhamma, and the factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga),
the plain version, and the two on fruits;
Ariṭṭha, Kappina, the lamp,
Vesālī, and with Kimila.
