[1583] When this was said, a certain man said to Nandaka, the chief minister of the Licchavis: "It is time to bathe, sir."
"Enough now, my good man, with that external bathing. This internal bathing will suffice—namely, confidence (pasāda) in the Blessed One."

Two spoken with Mahānāma, Godhā, and the two Sarakānis;
two spoken on immorality, and two on peril and enmity;
the Licchavi is spoken as the tenth—thus this chapter is declared.
