[1631] He should be spoken to thus: "Does the venerable one have any concern for the five human cords of sensual pleasure (kāmaguṇa)?" If he should say: "I do have concern for the five human cords of sensual pleasure," he should be spoken to thus: "Friend, divine sensual pleasures are more excellent and more sublime than human sensual pleasures. It would be good if the venerable one would withdraw his mind (citta) from human sensual pleasures and resolve his mind upon the devas of the Cātummahārājika realm." If he should say: "My mind has been withdrawn from human sensual pleasures; my mind has been resolved upon the devas of the Cātummahārājika realm..."
