[373] Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus who are accomplished in virtue (sīla), accomplished in concentration (samādhi), accomplished in wisdom (paññā), accomplished in liberation (vimutti), and accomplished in the knowledge (ñāṇa) and vision of liberation (vimuttiñāṇadassana) — even the seeing of those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, I say is of great benefit; even the hearing of those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, I say is of great benefit; even the approaching of those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, I say is of great benefit; even the attending upon those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, I say is of great benefit; even the recollecting of those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, I say is of great benefit; even the going forth after those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, I say is of great benefit. For what reason? Because, bhikkhus, having heard the Dhamma of such bhikkhus, one dwells withdrawn by a twofold withdrawal: by withdrawal of body and by withdrawal of mind (citta). Dwelling thus withdrawn, one recollects that Dhamma and thinks it over.
