[389] "If, friend, it occurs to me thus: 'There is the equanimity (upekkhā) factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga),' it occurs to me: 'It is measureless'; it occurs to me: 'It is well aroused.' While it persists, I understand: 'It persists.' And if it passes away in me, I understand: 'It passes away in me with this as condition.'"
