[390] Then a certain bhikkhu approached the Blessed One … Sitting to one side, that bhikkhu said this to the Blessed One: "'Factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga), factors of awakening,' venerable sir, it is said. In what way, venerable sir, are they called factors of awakening?" "They lead to awakening (bodha), bhikkhu; therefore they are called factors of awakening."
