[427] "Venerable sir, the awakening factor (bojjhaṅga) of mindfulness has been rightly proclaimed by the Blessed One; developed and cultivated, it leads to direct knowledge (abhiññā), to full awakening (sambodha), to Nibbāna. … The awakening factor of equanimity, venerable sir, has been rightly proclaimed by the Blessed One; developed and cultivated, it leads to direct knowledge, to full awakening, to Nibbāna. These seven factors of awakening, venerable sir, have been rightly proclaimed by the Blessed One; developed and cultivated, they lead to direct knowledge, to full awakening, to Nibbāna."
