[436] "Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops the mindfulness factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga) (satisambojjhaṅgaṃ), dependent on seclusion (viveka), dependent on dispassion (virāga), dependent on cessation (nirodha), maturing in release (vossaggapariṇāmiṃ) … he develops the equanimity factor of awakening, dependent on seclusion, dependent on dispassion, dependent on cessation, maturing in release. They lead to awakening (sambodhāya saṃvattanti), bhikkhu; therefore they are called 'factors of awakening.'"
