[446] Bhikkhus, for one attending wisely (yoniso manasikaroto), unarisen sensual desire (kāmacchanda) does not arise, and arisen sensual desire is abandoned. Unarisen ill will (byāpāda) does not arise, and arisen ill will is abandoned. Unarisen dullness and drowsiness (thīnamiddha) do not arise, and arisen dullness and drowsiness are abandoned. Unarisen restlessness and remorse (uddhaccakukkucca) do not arise, and arisen restlessness and remorse are abandoned. Unarisen doubt (vicikicchā) does not arise, and arisen doubt is abandoned.
