[17] Bhikkhus, I do not see even one other thing by means of which unarisen sensual desire (kāmacchanda) does not arise, or arisen sensual desire is abandoned, so much as the sign of foulness (asubhanimitta). Bhikkhus, for one attending wisely (yoniso manasikaroto) to the sign of foulness, unarisen sensual desire does not arise, and arisen sensual desire is abandoned.
