[493] And which five hindrances (nīvaraṇa) are not present in him on that occasion? The hindrance of sensual desire is not present in him on that occasion; the hindrance of ill will is not present in him on that occasion; the hindrance of dullness and drowsiness is not present in him on that occasion; the hindrance of restlessness and remorse is not present in him on that occasion; the hindrance of doubt is not present in him on that occasion. These five hindrances are not present in him on that occasion.
