[498] Just so, bhikkhus, here some clansman (kulaputta), having abandoned sensual pleasures (kāma) of a certain kind, has gone forth from the household life into homelessness; yet he lies broken, shattered, and fallen down by sensual pleasures of that same kind, or by ones even more evil than those.
