[52] Setting at Sāvatthī. Bhikkhus, these eight things (dhammā), developed and cultivated, arise when they have not arisen before; they do not arise apart from the appearance of a Tathāgata, an Arahant, a Perfectly Awakened One (sammāsambuddha). What are the eight? Namely: right view (sammādiṭṭhi) … right concentration (sammāsamādhi).
