[691] On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling among the Kosalans, at the brahmin village of Kosala. There the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus … and said this: "Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus who are new, not long gone forth, recently come to this Dhamma and Discipline (dhammavinaya) — those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, should be encouraged by you, settled, and established in the development of the four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna). In which four?"
