[694] Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus too who are arahants, whose taints (āsava) are destroyed, who have lived the life, done what had to be done, laid down the burden, reached their own true goal, utterly destroyed the fetters (saṃyojana) of existence, and are liberated through final knowledge—they too dwell contemplating the body in the body, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with serene minds (citta), concentrated, with one-pointed minds, detached from the body. They dwell contemplating feelings in feelings (vedanā), ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with serene minds, concentrated, with one-pointed minds, detached from feelings. They dwell contemplating the mind in the mind, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with serene minds, concentrated, with one-pointed minds, detached from the mind. They dwell contemplating dhammas in dhammas, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with serene minds, concentrated, with one-pointed minds, detached from dhammas.
