[693] Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus too who are trainees (sekkhā), who have not attained their mind's ideal (appattamānasā), who dwell aspiring to the unsurpassed security from bondage (yogakkhema) — they too dwell contemplating the body in the body, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with limpid mind (citta), concentrated, with one-pointed mind, for the full understanding (pariññā) of the body. They dwell contemplating feelings (vedanā) in feelings, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with limpid mind, concentrated, with one-pointed mind, for the full understanding of feelings. They dwell contemplating the mind in the mind, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with limpid mind, concentrated, with one-pointed mind, for the full understanding of the mind. They dwell contemplating dhammas in dhammas, ardent, clearly comprehending, unified, with limpid mind, concentrated, with one-pointed mind, for the full understanding of dhammas.
