[778] "What, Master Gotama, is the cause, what is the condition, whereby, when the Tathāgata has attained final Nibbāna (parinibbuta), the true Dhamma (saddhamma) does not endure long? And what, Master Gotama, is the cause, what is the condition, whereby, when the Tathāgata has attained final Nibbāna, the true Dhamma endures long?"
