[807] …he dwells contemplating feelings in feelings, ardent, clearly comprehending, mindful, having removed covetousness and grief regarding the world. As he dwells contemplating feelings in feelings, whatever desire (chanda) there is regarding feelings is abandoned. Through the abandoning of desire, the deathless (amata) is realized.
